Lil Wayne Celebrates Over Two Decades of Music in West Palm Beach
Lil Wayne marked 20 years of musical success with a performance at the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre in West Palm Beach, Florida, on Thursday. This concert was part of his Tha Carter VI tour, wrapping up a 34-city journey and marking his first return to the venue since 2019. Despite rainy weather, the Amphitheatre was filled with enthusiastic fans, both in seats and on the lawn.
Taking the stage around 10:00 PM, the five-time Grammy winner delivered a straightforward rap performance, showcasing a 13-song set that included iconic tracks such as "Fireman," "Lollipop," and "The Motto." The concert lacked extravagant theatrics, focusing instead on honoring his most celebrated songs. Opening for Wayne were Tyga and NoCap, with Tyga energizing the crowd with hits from the early 2010s like "Rack City" and "Ayo."
